Terms & Conditions


Payment – We accept Paypal, major credit cards and debit cards (not Amex). We can also take telephone orders with credit/debit cards

Delivery – We charge a flat rate fee for courier service to mainland UK and includes VAT. Delivery is between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and weekends. Bank holiday and weekend deliveries will be made the next working day.

Shortwave is closed Saturday – Monday so any orders made on these days will be sent the next working day. Please allow up to 7 days for delivery. For any overseas orders please contact us on 01202 490099

Orders – Once order placed we will send you e-mail confirmation of the order. This confirmation is not acceptance of the order. Acceptance and formation of a contract between us is when the ordered goods are despatched.  Once despatched we will provide you with tracking details from the courier (UK deliveries only). We reserve the right to cancel, send an alternative if no stock available (if item discontinued or other reason), pricing or description error.

Cancelling your order – please contact us immediately if you wish to cancel or amend your order prior to despatch. After despatch you have 7 days in which to return the items on the condition of:

You must contact us to receive an RMA number – either by e-mail or telephone

Ensure goods are in the condition that you received them in

All accessories included in purchase must be returned (this includes original box, manuals etc) 

Original proof of purchase must be enclosed

You will be responsible for the return of the equipment and at your own cost and risk. We recommend you use insured and signed delivery method e.g Royal Mail Signed for or special delivery. Any returns not following the above procedure may be rejected.

Faulty goods – If upon arrival your goods are faulty, please contact us immediately (within 7 days). We will then provide:

RMA number for you to return goods to us

All equipment including accessories must be returned at your risk/cost

Copy of proof of purchase, fault and RMA must be enclosed along with e-mail address or contact number

Ensure you use well protected packaging and insured delivery method.  Once we receive the item our onsite engineers will verify the fault. If a warranty fault we will send a replacement to you completely free.  If goods are verified as a non warranty fault or no fault, we will return the item back to you and no refund given.
